Salt Lake County 2550 S Grading and Structure

Construction of a future roadway for Salt Lake County. The project included the removal of vegetation, removal & installation of fencing, cut to fill to establish minimum cross-section thickness, and importing fill materials to “surcharge” the roadway for future improvements such as curbs, gutters, and asphalt.

This heavy civil construction project also included the installation of a 300’ long, 16’ wide, 6’ tall precast box culvert in the Ritter Canal. Work included diverting the canal water through a temporary bypass canal and placing precast concrete culvert sections, cast-in-place aprons, wing walls, and headwalls on each end.
