Principal construction was completed at an onsite pre-assembly area to provide a safer, more efficient environment for workers. Transport and final installation of the 2600' conveyor system was achieved through coordinated efforts of multiple crafts and mine management.

35,000 SF manufacturing facility in Paige, Arizona. The work consisted of earthwork, concrete, structural steel, pre-engineered building, electrical, process piping, and mechanical installations.
Wollam Construction completed a world-class Sorensen Tipple Project for Westmoreland Coal (formerly Chevron Mining). The project consisted of a Truck Dump, Hilfiker Wall System, McLanahan Feeder Breaker and Crusher, 54" Conveyors and a new Head House. The fabricated steel was provided by Selway Corporation and the electrical was completed by GSL Electric. A 600 ton capacity crane was utilized to complete the head house and conveyor installations. There were 80,000 manhours expended on this MSHA Project with no lost time incidents.
Coal Handling Facility for Bridger Coal Company. 6,000 TPH coal facility. The project scope included partial design, 750' of precast reclaim tunnel, two 110' concrete stacking tubes with head houses, 72" conveyors, drive station building, electrical, and MCC building installation. The project took place on an MSHA mine site.

Wollam Construction, with support of Roberts & Schaefer Company, GSL Electric, and Selway Corporation completed the Elkol Upgrade project for Chevron Mining in Kemmerer, Wyoming.
This 1500 TPH EPCM project included a 500 ton truck dump, 54" conveyors, dustless transfers, and a new sampling system.
A startup and safety bonus was realized on this project.
This project is key to future ore extraction at Kennecott Utah Copper. To date, our piping crew installed over 18,000’ of HDPE lines throughout the mine.

This project consisted of earthwork, form work, structural concrete placement, structural steel erection and mechanical installation. It was completed at an active copper mine. MSHA inspections yielded zero citations.
Wollam performed the earthwork, concrete, structural steel fabrication, steel erection, and the setting of bins, equipment and process piping in a cement dust blending project for a major cement producer.
Wollam completed the earthwork, dewatering, concrete, structural steel fabrication/erection and the installation of a 185 foot bucket elevator and related equipment on a rail loading project for a major Utah cement producer.

Wollam performed earthwork and structural concrete installations for a new truck wash facility for 170 ton trucks. Subcontracted portions of the project included providing/installing pre-cast double tee concrete walls, built-up roofing, and mechanical boiler system.

Wollam performed all supervision, labor, construction equipment and material for a new lime plant in northern Nevada. There was approximately 1,400 cubic yards of structural concrete on this project.

Wollam Construction completed the civil/structural portion of a new direct chill casting facility for a magnesium producer. A portion of the work was fifty feet in the ground with the water table being at 11 feet. The work consisted of dewatering, sheet piling, earthwork, auger cast piling, structural concrete, structural steel erection, equipment installations and roofing/siding.
