Troy Johnson - Operations Manager | Leadership Team | Wollam Construction
TROY JOHNSON

Vice President

Troy was raised on a working cattle ranch in rural Utah where he learned the importance of both a sense of responsibility and a strong work ethic at a young age.  He carried these values on to an 8-year career working for a construction company specializing in drilling and blasting.  While there, he worked his way up from a laborer to a foreman while also completing his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Utah State University.  He had the unique opportunity to complete an engineering internship for a corporate construction company where he worked his way up to a senior project manager level in the eight years he worked there while bidding and managing over a hundred and fifty million dollars’ worth of work.

Troy made the career move to become the operations manager at Wollam Construction in 2015 and has been passionate about the growth of the company by recruiting and developing talent at all levels.  He has always had the personal philosophy that companies are a strict representative of the people that they employ, and this guides his personal leadership style.  Since being brought on by Wollam, he has diversified the portfolio of work the company is able to perform while managing and growing a talented and diverse workforce.

Troy is focused and committed to creating growth opportunities for both the company and the people who work there through strong leadership, strategic goal setting, and outstanding performance on all projects and at all levels.

When he isn’t working, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.  He is an avid sports fan and outdoor enthusiast and bases his free time around these interests alongside his family.
